Registration renewal for 2018 began November 1, 2017 on the new CMTBC Portal.  

The deadline for renewing your registration for 2018 without a late fee is December 15, 2017.  The new Portal makes renewing registration a much easier process than it has been in the past.

If you have not yet activated your account on the new Portal, the Registration Renewal page provides detailed information on how to get ready for registration renewal. When you are ready to begin, log in to the CMTBC Portal, click the “Renew Registration” box on the Welcome page (or click “Renewal of Registration” in the menu at the left), and follow the instructions.

Once you begin the registration renewal process, the system will ask you to upload your proof of professional liability insurance and your Standard First Aid/CPR-C certificate – both in PDF format. We know that many RMTs have already uploaded these documents to the previous CMTBC portal, but because of issues with the previous portal, we are asking that RMTs repeat the process to ensure that all of their data is current and correct. RMTs are also asked to provide the College with a new consent form for criminal record checks (CRC), even if they have a CRC that is currently valid. The new form covers all required future CRCs, at no cost to the registrant.

We encourage all RMTs who have not already renewed to prepare their documents and renew in advance of December 15. Registration renewals are possible between December 16, 2017 and January 31, 2018, but will be subject to a $110 late renewal fee. The CMTBC Bylaws provide more information on late renewal and failure to renew.
