Updates to COVID-19 Interim Guidelines for Return to Practice reflect Ministerial Order

CMTBC’s Interim Guidelines for Return to Practice (COVID-19) have been updated to reflect travel restrictions that came into effect under the order of BC’s Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General on April 21, 2021.

Changes to the Interim Guidelines focus on:

  • Screening prior to treatment (including new travel restrictions)
  • Mask use (mandatory)
  • Professional obligation to follow public health guidance

RMTs continue to practice with care and attention to safety for patients and the communities where they practice. The updates to CMTBC’s Interim Guidelines are designed to support RMTs and clarify sections where changes have been made, either by Ministerial Order or by further guidance from public health authorities.
