Online course requirement: completion by October 31, 2021

RMTs are reminded that the CMTBC-authored online course on the Code of Ethics and Practice Environment standard must be completed by October 31, 2021.

If you have not yet completed the course, you are advised to read and follow the instructions on the CMTBC Online Courses page – please do so today.

Consequences of not completing the course by October 31, 2021 are that you will be charged a non-compliance fee of $200, consistent with CMTBC Bylaws, Schedule “B”, and you will be unable to renew registration for 2022 if you fail to complete the course by the December 15, 2021 deadline for registration renewal.

Cycle 12 continuing education credit (CEC) requirements:

• Deadline to apply for approval of Cycle 12 continuing education activities: September 6, 2021
• Deadline to complete Cycle 12 continuing education activities: October 31, 2021

Registrants are reminded that they must complete Cycle 12 continuing education activities and obtain the required number of CECs to meet quality assurance requirements by October 31, 2021.

For information on available continuing education activities, see Approved Continuing Education Activities. If you wish to apply for a continuing education activity that is not currently on the Approved Activities list, you may apply for approval of Cycle 12 activities until the end of day September 6, 2021.

To apply for approval of continuing education activities, use forms on the Cycle 12 – Apply for Approval of Continuing Education Activities page. Applicants are advised to read the forms carefully and provide all requested information. An incomplete form will not be accepted after September 6, 2021. It is your responsibility to ensure that all required information is provided, and meets the published criteria for approval in Cycle 12.
