Closing date for RMTs to apply for Practice Advisor position: June 30, 2022

As previously announced, CMTBC is recruiting for a second part-time staff position as Practice Advisor. The Practice Advisor’s primary role will be providing guidance to RMTs on professional obligations found in legislation and CMTBC’s Bylaws, Code of Ethics, and standards of practice.

Among the Practice Advisor’s responsibilities will be:

  • Providing comprehensive and accurate guidance and advice to RMTs on practice-related
    issues
  • Providing structured one-on-one support to RMTs who are required to meet with a Practice Advisor because they have not met minimum requirements from CMTBC’s Bylaws, Code of Ethics, and Standards of Practice
  • Developing and reviewing practice support and resource materials for RMTs

Qualifications include a minimum of five years of full-time experience as a practising RMT in a regulated Canadian province. Regulatory experience will be considered an asset, as will post-graduate academic education in a related field, and/or experience in an educational or practice leadership role.
