2020 Board election results
Three RMTs – Jana Konkin, Taylor James Laviolette, and Kristen Burrows – have been elected to sit on the CMTBC Board.

Before the end of the current quality assurance reporting cycle, RMTs must complete the Boundaries and Consent course, demonstrating their understanding of recently implemented practice standards.
RMTs must ensure they uphold their professional obligation to provide CMTBC with updated liability insurance and contact information.
RMTs have until 4:30 p.m. on February 28, 2020 to vote in this year’s CMTBC Board election.
CMTBC’s online Board election will begin January 31, 2020 at 8:30 am. Any Practising RMT in Good Standing is eligible to vote in this election.
This year there are seven candidates running for positions on CMTBC’s Board. Candidates’ names, photographs, and statements have been posted on the 2020 Board Election page.
CMTBC has created an agreement that allows practicing RMTs in good standing to use the CMTBC logo on their websites or on printed materials. The CMTBC logo must be used only in connection with the clinical practice of massage therapy.
CMTBC’s new online course is now available to RMTs. The course presents the requirements of the College’s boundaries and consent standards of practice in the context of everyday practice scenarios.
