CMTBC Board approves standard of practice on professional boundaries

The CMTBC Board has approved a new standard of practice on professional boundaries. The standard of practice clearly defines expectations for RMTs in the area of boundaries.
CMTBC’s 2018 Annual General Meeting will take place June 15, 2018. The College has posted the AGM’s agenda and resolutions to be considered by the Board.
CMTBC has posted the College’s 2017 Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements on the CMTBC website. The report includes messages from the Board Chair and Registrar, feature stories on the registration examination and other topics, and committee reports.
Any RMT who received a damaged registration certificate in the mail is asked to contact CMTBC by email to request a replacement certificate, which will be mailed at no charge.
Prior to enrollment in Standard First Aid and CPR-C training, RMTs are advised to confirm that successful completion will result in a certificate from one of five national certifying organizations.
CMTBC will hold the College’s 2018 AGM on June 15, 2018. RMTs who wish to submit proposed resolutions for the AGM must ensure the resolution form is delivered to the Registrar by May 15, 2018, 5 pm.
RMTs must complete their continuing education activities for Cycle 11 of the QA program by October 31, 2018. Learn about the deadlines and requirements, and see a data snapshot of how RMTs are doing so far.
CMTBC has developed a new standard of practice on professional boundaries and provided an eight-week notice period, from April 16 to June 11, 2018.
