CMTBC’s entry-level registration examination consists of four components that are scheduled over a period of several weeks. The registration examination is held twice a year, primarily in March and in September, though individual components may occur in the preceding or following month (i.e. February or April for the March exam, and August or October for the September exam).
The next registration examination will be held in March 2018. (See below for specific dates.)
All applications for the next registration examination, including related documents and payment, must be received by January 16, 2018.
Candidates are required to complete four components of the registration examination:
Candidates will be scheduled to write the written examinations on March 10, 2018.
The written examinations will be held in Vancouver, Kelowna, and Victoria:
Candidates can choose to attend the performance-based assessment on one of these dates: March 20, 21, 22, 23, or 24, 2018.
The Performance-Based Assessment will be held at Fortius Sport & Health, 3713 Kensington Avenue, Burnaby.
Candidates will receive an email invitation to begin the online course in Law, Ethics & Professionalism as soon as they have booked the date and time of the online exam.
Candidates can choose to complete the online exam in Law, Ethics & Professionalism on one of these dates: March 21 or March 23 (during the PBA week).
The online exam will be held in proctored computer labs at UBC Robson Square, Vancouver.
January 16, 2018: deadline for application and payment of exam fee
March 10, 2018: written exams in Kelowna, Vancouver, and Victoria
