CMTBC’s entry-level registration examination consists of four components that are scheduled over a period of several weeks. The registration examination is held twice a year, primarily in March and in September, though individual components may occur in the preceding or following month (i.e. February or April for the March exam, and August or October for the September exam).

Candidates are required to complete four components of the registration examination:
Candidates will be scheduled to write the written exam components on September 29, 2018. The written exam components will be held in Vancouver, Kelowna, and Victoria:
Candidates can choose to attend the performance-based assessment on one of these dates: September 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20 or 21, 2018.
The Performance-Based Assessment will be held at Fortius Sport & Health, 3713 Kensington Avenue, Burnaby.
Candidates are enrolled in the online course in Law, Ethics & Professionalism as soon as they have booked the date and time of the online exam. All ten modules of the online course must be completed before the exam; course completion is the trigger that releases access to the exam on the scheduled date and time.
