Board nominations

There’s still time to nominate a registrant for an upcoming vacant CMTBC Board position. Three CMTBC Board members who began their current term of office in April 2016 will be stepping down on March 31, 2018, at the end of their terms. Nominations are open for the three Board positions, each to be elected for a two-year term. Any active registrant in good standing may nominate one active registrant in good standing for a Board position.

To nominate a registrant, download and fill out the 2018 CMTBC Board Candidate Nomination Form (PDF) and send it to CMTBC Registrar Eric Wredenhagen. All nominations must include the consent of the person being nominated, and must be received by the Registrar by January 2, 2018, 5:00 pm.

All registrants interested in being a candidate for the 2018 Board election should read the Board Roles & Responsibilities page before agreeing to be nominated.

Registration renewal

The deadline for registrants to renew their registration for 2018 without a late fee was December 15, 2017. Almost all registrants met the deadline, and did so by using the new CMTBC Portal. The very small number of registrants who did not meet the deadline may still renew registration up to January 31, 2018, and will be subject to a $110 late renewal fee. The CMTBC Bylaws provide more information on late renewal and failure to renew.
