CMTBC posts revised Interim Guidelines for Return to Practice (COVID-19) as part of transition to communicable disease prevention

On June 30, 2021, CMTBC posted a substantially revised and shorter version of the Interim Guidelines for Return to Practice (COVID-19) on the CMTBC website.

CMTBC revised and reduced the Interim Guidelines to be consistent with the BC Government’s announcement on June 29, 2021 that the province is transitioning gradually to Step 3 of BC’s Restart Plan on July 1, 2021. Step 3 represents a change in focus from COVID-19 safety plans to communicable disease prevention; the revisions to the Interim Guidelines reflect that change.

To support RMTs in the transition to communicable disease prevention, the revised Interim Guidelines concisely outline recommended measures to be implemented in practice settings. Please read and become familiar with the revised Interim Guidelines for Return to Practice (COVID-19).

CMTBC will also be updating FAQs about the Interim Guidelines, and will inform RMTs when the updates have been posted.
