CMTBC is recruiting for a second part-time staff position as Practice Advisor. This role will provide additional professional practice support to RMTs, supplementing the original Practice Advisor role created in 2019 (now the Coordinator, Practice Development and Support).

Qualifications include a minimum of five years of full-time experience as a practising RMT in a regulated Canadian province. Regulatory experience will be considered an asset, as will post-graduate academic education in a related field, and/or experience in an educational or practice leadership role.

CMTBC created the College’s first Practice Advisor position in 2019. The creation and recruitment of a second Practice Advisor position represents an expansion of CMTBC’s commitment to providing RMTs with practice guidance and advice on an as needed basis. “The new Practice Advisor position is being created due to demand, as there has been tremendous uptake amongst RMTs in contacting a Practice Advisor,” says Eric Wredenhagen, CMTBC Registrar and CEO.
