Nature of Action: An undertaking and consent agreement of the registrant under section 33(6)(c) of the Health Professions Act providing for a reprimand and limits and conditions on the registrant’s practice (an undertaking to pay the College $350, which represents a portion of the costs of the investigation).
Reasons: The College received a complaint about the registrant, which included allegations that the registrant had traded massage therapy services with a former patient and had engaged in inappropriate communications with the former patient.
The registrant admitting to having committed professional misconduct by failing to comply with section 75(c) of the College’s Bylaws and section 4 of Schedule “E” to the College’s Bylaws, by failing to generate and maintain a clinical record for a former patient to whom she provided massage therapy services.
The other allegations were not admitted by the registrant and have not been proven.
