Complaints about the conduct or competence of an RMT may be submitted online using the secure Complaint Form.
CMTBC is required by law to regulate the practice of massage therapy by its registrants in the public interest. As part of this responsibility, the College responds to public complaints about incompetent, unethical, or unprofessional practice.
Complaints about RMTs may be submitted online using the secure Complaint Form, or by sending an email, letter, or fax to CMTBC.
In addressing complaints, CMTBC is guided by the public interest mandate set out in the Health Professions Act. Where the College takes action on a complaint, its overriding purpose is to protect public safety by addressing any conduct by an RMT that falls below the appropriate professional standard.
