RMTs who wish to take courses that are not on the Approved Continuing Education Activities List and receive continuing education credits (CECs) can either submit an application form on behalf of a course provider, or ask the course provider to submit the application form.
CMTBC recommends that RMTs ask course providers and instructors to submit an application form, to ensure the required documentation is included.
RMTs can submit the course approval form after a course has begun or been completed, but there is no guarantee that the course will be approved for CECs. The approval process can take up to six weeks.

As an RMT, it is your responsibility to ensure that the continuing education you plan to take is eligible for CECs, if you intend to report CECs upon completion of the course.
