The deadline for submitting applications for approval of continuing education (CE) activities that are not yet on the Cycle 12 – Approved Continuing Education Activities list was September 6, 2021. New applications are no longer accepted.
CMTBC staff are reviewing applications for approval of Cycle 12 CE activities that were submitted. As a result of the applications, additional activities may be added to the Cycle 12 – Approved Continuing Education Activities list. Please do not contact the College to find out if a course will be approved – doing so will slow down the process.
Cycle 12 ends on October 31, 2021. Registrants can confirm their remaining Cycle 12 requirements on the Registrant Portal. After logging into the portal, in the Registrant Dashboard, select “Continuing Education (CE) – Cycle 12” and then “CE Progress Summary” to view how many continuing education credits (CECs) you have accumulated in Cycle 12 and how many more you need to obtain.
When the backlog of Cycle 12 applications has been cleared, an Application for Approval form for Cycle 13 CE activities will be posted. All CE activities approved in Cycle 12 are automatically pre-approved for Cycle 13 and are included in the Cycle 13 – Approved Continuing Education Activities list.
Cycle 12 and Cycle 13 (which ends October 31, 2022) overlap because CMTBC provided a one-year grace period for completion of Cycle 12 CECs, to accommodate challenges presented by COVID-19.
